(In spite of its historic and literary importance as a predecessor of La Celestina, particularly of the figure of the procuress, the humanistic comedy Dolos, written in Italy circa 1432, has not been edited or translated into any language, and is known only through Renaissance manuscripts. The author of this article presents here an introduction and the first Spanish translation of this interesting piece of the Latin Humanism.)
